"An easy day hike or overnighter with a great view from Silver Cord Cascade. This trail could be hiked from several starting points, including Artist Point and Wapiti Lake, but this route avoids most of the larger crowds and lets the hiker explore this entire area so close to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. This route also avoids any hiking on the paved road. Highlights of this trail include Clear Lake, thermal areas, Ribbon Lake, Silver Cord Cascade, and sweeping views up the wildlife-rich Hayden Valley." Read more
