    Black Butte is a hiking trail in Gallatin County, Montana. It is within Hyalite-Porcupine-Buffalo Horn Wilderness Study Area and Yellowstone National Park. It is 6.0 miles long and begins at 6,818 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 12.1 miles with a total elevation gain of 4,115 feet. Near the trailhead there are parking and an information map. Along the trail there are viewpoints. This trail connects with the following: Black Butte-Daly Creek Cutoff, Wf1 and Sky Rim.
