"Phelps Lake is a natural lake situated at the southern end of Grand Teton National Park at the mouth of Death Canyon. The scenic, low-elevation lake sits at 6,633 feet. It covers 750 acres with a length of 1 .5 miles, making it the fourth largest lake in the park. The stark, vertical walls of Death Canyon add a beautiful background to the lake, with Albright Peak dominating at 1 0,552 feet."
