About an 18-mile drive along a high road between Lava Creek Canyon and Blacktail Deer Plateau. Scenic overviews are beautiful, though not dramatic. Special attractions: The terraces at Mammoth Hot Springs, Mammoth elk herd, Fort Yellowstone, Albright Visitor Center and Museum, Undine Falls, Blacktail Ponds, the Children’s Fire Trail, Phantom Lake, Floating Island Lake, and Roosevelt Lodge.
