Sargents Bay: Jackson Lake Professional Review and Guide
"Jackson Lake is the second largest lake in the greater Yellowstone area. Sargents Bay, north of Colter Bay, is a lightly visited bay on the east shore of the lake that offers impressive views of the Teton Range. The bay was formed between 1910 and 1916 when the Jackson Lake Dam raised the water level. The trail is an old wagon road that is used primarily by fishermen. It follows a gully for a quarter mile to the enclosed bay. Pebble beaches rim the shoreline, backed by the forested sloping hills."
