The Sundance Trails can be accessed 4 miles north of Sundance from Forest Road 838. Another access point is located 3.5 miles north of Sundance from the Government Valley Road. The loop starts out on good doubletrack road for 1.4 miles and then drops onto a singletrack constructed specifically for mountain biking. After nearly 4.5 miles, it joins an old doubletrack for approximately 2 miles. The final 1.2 miles are on good doubletrack road.
