The Sundance Trail system is remarkable in the number of hiking options it allows within a relatively small area. With the number of loops and interconnecting routes here it is easy to find the perfect path for you according to your abilities and the amount of time you have to spend here. Biking and Horseback riding opportunities are here as well but there are so many routes here that one generally finds solitude where ever they go. I particularly enjoy hiking the Tent Canyon Ridge trail and the Ogdon Ridge as a loop. This particular route is of moderate difficulty and offers some great views of the Western Black Hills and Wyoming praire. I am yet to set foot on all the rails in the Sundance System but I certainly plan to as the ones I have travelled have proven most enjoyable.
