This drive makes a spectacular ascent from Sheridan in the Goose Creek Valley, up into the Big Horn Mountains. It then travels through lush forest and past numerous lakes and mountain streams for many miles. The initial part of the drive follows paved roads up the valley of Little Goose Creek. The road then turns to gravel and climbs out of the valley.
