Highland Park and Lake Winnie, Trails 038, 036, 014 Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A long segment of the Solitude Loop Trail (Trail 038), this stretch travels through stunning Highland Park as it connects Coffeen Park Trailhead to Lake Winnie. Highland Park offers amazing views of the high mountain peaks including Black Tooth Mountain.

This hike represents the northeast arm of the Cloud Peak Wilderness. It is an essential connection in the Solitude Loop Trail, but can also be a destination for day hikes and overnight trips. Primitive access roads are a limiting factor here."
