"A picturesque hot springs within Saratoga City Park. Soaking options include a warm water municipal swimming pool, the always open and always free Hobo Pool, and several thermal seeps on the banks of the North Platte River. The quiet Wyoming town of Saratoga was named after the famous resort of Saratoga Springs, New York.

Located in the beautiful North Platte River Valley, this Western community of under 2,000 people is famous not only for its hot springs but also for the world-class trout fishing in the North Platte River that bisects the town. The fishing is so well-known that Saratoga adopted the slogan “Saratoga—Where the Trout Leap on Main Street.” The Lobster Pot at one end of Hobo Pool is a steamy 120 degrees F. The main soaking pool surrounding the Lobster Pot averages 110 degrees F. Primitive rock pools filled with the runoff from the Hobo Pool average 102 to 104 degrees F, depending on the amount of cold water mixed in from the North Platte River."
