Aspen Alley resides in the little-known Sierra Madre Mountains, not far from where Thomas Edison discovered the material for light filament. As the report goes, he was on a fishing trip and a bamboo rod combined with a campfire, triggering the event that ultimately gave us the light bulb. Fishing is still popular, though access is undoubtedly improved. Campgrounds included in this eTrail are: Dugway, Teton Reservoir, Saratoga Lake, Lincoln Park, South Brush Creek, Ryan Park, French Creek, Bennett Peak, Corral Creek, Sixmile Creek, Encampment City Park, Encampment River, Bottle Creek, Lakeview, Haskins Creek, Lost Creek, Little Sandstone, Jack Creek, and Battle Creek.

We stayed at Hog Park campgound June 29 - July 1. Nice enough, but packed due to the holidays. The lakeside sites looked really nice. Beware that a number of the forest-side sites aren't really suitable for tent camping unless you don't mind sliding down hill all night. I'd give this campground four stars when it's not all crowded with RV's and four wheelers.
