Located in south-central Wyoming, between Rawlins and the Wyoming-Colorado border at Slater, Colorado. This route follows a paved road as it leaves Rawlins. After 23 miles, the pavement ends and becomes a wide gravel road. It narrows and becomes less developed when it enters Medicine Bow National Forest. It joins the paved Wyoming 70 for the final 16 miles to the Colorado border.
