Cunningham Cabin Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Cunningham Cabin was the 1 60-acre homestead ranch of J. Pierce and Margaret Cunningham from the 1 880s. The homestead is located just south of Spread Creek in the flatlands overlooking the Snake River between Moose Junction and Moran Junction.
The ranch was primarily used for grazing cattle and cultivating hay. All that remains of the historic homesite are buck-and-rail fences, foundation stones, broken posts, and depressions. The existing cabin, built in the 1 950s, is a replica of the original 1 880s cabin. The half-mile, self-guiding trail circles the cabin, foundation, and surrounding grounds."
