Green River Lakes to Slide Lake

Green River Lakes to Slide Lake Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A large timberline lake embraced by towering walls and alpine summits is the destination of this rewarding trip. Although the trip can be completed in one long day, most people want to spend two
or three days here absorbing the dramatic landscapes and fishing for the abundant brook trout that inhabit the lake.

Midway up the canyon wall, the trail edges close to dramatic Slide Creek Falls, a long, high-angle cascade that flows over the steeply dipping bedding plane of limestone. As you continue to gain elevation, the Tetons come into view in the northwest, nearly 60 miles distant."
