We’ve heard a lot of discouraging stories about Daggett Lake. Some say angling is desperately poor; others tell of the hordes of mosquitoes that can suck you dry. Perhaps these people are misinformed, or maybe they just want to keep a few secrets for themselves. Whatever the reason, we found Daggett to be one of the better rainbow fisheries in the High Uintas. In the short time we spent here, we managed to hook several hefty trout. A small orange fly seemed to get their attention, and bait anglers using green sparkled PowerBait pulled ’em in just as fast.
