Yellowstone Lake: Bridge Bay to Pelican Creek Professional Review and Guide
"Starting form the boating center of Yellowstone Lake, this trip follows the northwest shore, paddling past the historic Lake Hotel and on past the Yellowstone River as it flows from the lake, and then turning around at the mouth of Pelican Creek and returning. Be aware of wind and waves. Attractions include views of historic Lake Hotel, outlet of Yellowstone River, Fishing Bridge Visitor Center, Pelican Creek inlet, and migratory birds. This day paddle is along a section of Yellowstone Lake’s shoreline that is less remote than other described day trips, but it is interesting because the route gives you different lake views and allows you to explore cultural and natural areas that are important to understanding Yellowstone Park."
