This small lake, set in the moraines left by the glaciers that formed Pacific Creek, is somewhat off the beaten path, just east of the Jackson Lake area. It is a wonderful place to paddle if you are looking for a quiet, calm experience with opportunities to fish, watch birds, and maybe spot a moose. Be aware of afternoon winds and storm buildup and take bear country precautions. Attractions include abundant wildflowers and bird life, fishing and hiking; plus signs of beaver, elk, and moose.
