South Landing is a rounded cove near the south end of Jackson Lake by Signal Mountain. The secluded bay has gorgeous views of Elk Island, Donoho Point (also an island), small Marie Island, Hermitage Point, and the stunning peaks of the Teton Range. The trail descends through a lodgepole pine forest to the shoreline, rimmed with rounded rocks.
