South Boundary Lake: South Boundary Trail from Grassy Lake Professional Review and Guide
"South Boundary Lake is an oval-shaped, 10-acre lake on the south boundary of Yellowstone National Park. The forested lake is lined with pond lilies and rimmed with lodgepole pines. Following the South Boundary Trail, the lake can be accessed from the west, near Grassy Lake, or from the east, at the south entrance to Yellowstone. This hike begins from Grassy Lake and climbs over a small, forested ridge to the park boundary. The trail parallels the boundary to the south edge of the lake, following the western shoreline."
