A long backpacking trip into the most remote section of Grand Teton National Park. Most people don’t think about this section of Grand Teton National Park, so you can plan on having Glade Creek and most of the north trails to yourself. This hike actually starts outside of the park on the John D. Rockefeller Jr. Memorial Parkway, but the area is just as undeveloped as the park itself—in fact, more wild than many parts of the park. The trailhead sign says that it’s 3.5 miles to the park boundary, but this is probably exaggerated by a half mile or more. Special attractions: A little-used section of Grand Teton National Park, featuring a more gentle terrain than the high peaks in the southern sections of the park.
