Jackson Lake: Signal Mountain to Donoho Point and Hermitage Point Professional Review and Guide
"This day trip tours part of the southeast portion of Jackson Lake as you paddle north around Donoho Point, an island. Jackson Lake is a long, large lake backed up against the Teton Range. With a convoluted shoreline of approximately 70 miles and islands scattered throughout its southern end, Jackson offers many paddling opportunities of Paddling toward Hermitage Point from Donoho Point, with Mount Moran in the background.
Bring along binoculars and a bird book, too, because there will be water birds on the lake and shoreline paddling will be close enough to do some spotting from your boat. Fishing can also be good. Be aware of afternoon winds and accompanying waves. Attractions include open-water paddling, incredible views of the Teton Range, bird watching (especially water birds), fishing, and hiking."
