Wider than they are tall, Bechler and Cave falls are the most accessible cascades in the remote Bechler region. This easy loop provides a sample of what the area has to offer while avoiding river fords. Runoff is highest from May on, but access to the region is difficult and trails remain wet and muddy until mid-July. Of course, by the time the trails have dried out in August and September, the volume of the waterfalls is greatly diminished. Throughout October the weather can be good but is very unpredictable.
