This is a challenging mountain bike ride, or fairly long hike. You can either park at the old 14A cutoff and ride two miles up a very steep road to the start of the trail, or drive up the road, slowly! big potholes! to the gate where the trail starts. The trail is a continuous uphill from there, with impressive vistas. At the top there is a gate, and a forest service road beyond. If you are on a bike, you can take this back to the main road, and go downhill back to your car on 14A, or turn around and ride the trail down. It took me 2 hours up and 20 minutes down.
