Located 10 miles east of Laramie in the Medicine bow National Forest and Happy Jack Recreation Area. The ride begins on a gravel road as it goes through the campground and then exits onto wide singletrack. The Summit Trail follows an old doubletrack, although use by non-motorized travel is transforming the route from a doubletrack to a wide singletrack.

I just started mountain biking, but so far this is one of the most fun trails I have been on. Its an old ski resort, so even after mulitple visits you can explore new ground. Lots of tough uphills...but the downhills make up for it. Very rocky in parts, but lots of fun.
