Cascade Canyon is a U-shaped, glacial-carved canyon with a wide, expansive floor and steep, mile-high walls. The hike up the canyon is one of the most popular and beautiful hikes in Grand Teton National Park. (The farther you hike, the less crowded the trail.) From the west end of Jenny Lake, the trail gently climbs up the magnificent canyon along Cascade Creek in the shadow of the Grand Teton. The towering peaks of the Teton Range loom above throughout the hike. The hike can be shortened by taking the boat shuttle from the Jenny Lake Ranger Station to the west shore.

Trail seemed nice but we saw a bear walking down the trail towards us 1.5 in, so we turned around. Only reason giving this 3 stars was because we didn't finish it

Great 2 hour hike in the foothills of the towering Tetons. Had a grand picnic by Bradley Lake.
