Lower Sheep Creek Canyon Professional Review and Guide
"Lower Sheep Creek Canyon lies near the east end of the National Elk Refuge in the Teton National Forest. The access trail begins in the refuge and quickly enters the mouth of the canyon. The hike leads to two overlooks located on the west slope of the Gros Ventre Range. From the overlooks, perched 600 feet above the valley floor, are expansive views across the elk refuge, the Teton Range, the Snake River Range, Jackson Peak, and into Sheep Creek Canyon."
