Directly south of Colter Bay Village, in the center of Grand Teton National Park. A leisurely day hike beneath the towering Teton Mountains and by the reflective shores of Jackson Lake. Here’s an easy and special trail that places you directly into that postcard scenery and away from the crowded highway overviews where everyone else stops. You do have to hike 0.5 mile to get beyond the noise of motorboats entering and exiting the marina. This is an almost 9-mile multi-loop trail that offers views of the northern Tetons dramatically rising above forest and lake waters.
