An easy, well traveled, ascent to Lake Solitude. The trail is in very good shape with loose scree in some areas. Great camping options a few miles in. For an added bonus continue on past Lake Solitude and climb the 2.4 mile, 1000ft elevation gain trail to the Paintbrush Divide. The view is worth the trip!

A hike with a little of everything - lakes, river, abundant wildlife, great view of the Grand Teton, Mt. Mt. Moran and Teewinot. The trail is in good shape - a little muddy at the Lake. It is not necessary to cross any snowfields. This was a great hike!
