Granite Falls and Hot Springs Professional Review and Guide
"Granite Falls and Hot Springs are located in the Gros Ventre Mountains east of Hoback Junction. This short hike follows Granite Creek as it cascades over magnificent Granite Falls, a wide, roaring 20-foot cascade. The waterfall was used as a backdrop in the movie A River Runs Through It . The trail begins at an elevation of 7,000 feet by Granite Hot Springs, a developed hot springs built in 1 933 with changing rooms and a 45 x 75-foot pool. The hike follows the cascading creek downstream to Granite Falls Hot Springs, a primitive hot springs on the edge of the creek at the base of Granite Falls."
