This trip is similar in length to trip 8, except that you paddle considerably longer the first day. You'll see more of the shoreline and still have an opportunity to visit Shoshone Geyser Basin. Be aware of afternoon winds and accompanying waves, thin crust and hot water in thermal basin, precautions for food storage in bear country. Attractions include Lewis River Channel, Shoshone Geyser Basin, moose, bird watching, and fishing.
