This trip explores the south shore and part of the north shore of Shoshone Lake, giving you a good wilderness, experience, with an opportunity to spend at least some time in the Shoshone Geyser Basin. Two very different camps, one at Moose Creek and one at Bluff Top, are used. Be aware of afternoon winds and accompanying waves, thin crust and hot water in thermal basin, precautions for food storage in bear country.
