Toppings Lakes Trail

Elk, Wyoming

Toppings Lakes Trail Professional Review and Guide

"Toppings Lakes are two lakes on the west side of Mount Leidy in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, located just outside of the east Grand Teton boundary. The high mountain lakes sit in a depression surrounded by forests and meadows at an elevation of 8,500 feet.

The two lakes are connected by a stream and drain to the east down through Coal Creek, a tributary of Spread Creek. The Toppings Lakes Trail follows a ridge through lodgepole pines and parallels a stream to a large meadow and the lakes. A side path leads a half mile to a ridge and an overlook of Mount Leidy and the lakes below."
