If you are seeking solitude, you should note that this is one of the busiest routes in the Teton Wilderness. In spite of this, it is a very pretty hike through lovely meadows on a well-maintained trail. The trail gets a lot of stock use, and it will turn soggy if there is extended rain. Elevation is gained and lost gradually throughout the trip. Highlights: A pleasant journey to a lake that is the farthest linear distance from a road in the contiguous 48 states.
