A 58-mile paved highway over the crest of the Big Horn Mountains, past thick forest, lush meadows, waterfalls, and deep canyons. The Big Horn Scenic Byway climbs over the crest of the Big Horn Mountains from the Powder River Basin to the Big Horn Basin. Along the way it passes clear mountain streams, a lake, a large waterfall, rugged canyons, lush forest, and even the site of a large tornado.
