Circle Park Loop, Trails 046 and 095

Circle Park Loop, Trails 046 & 095 Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Circle Park Trailhead is one of the most popular, and rightfully so. It offers some of the easiest access to Cloud Peak Wilderness. This lollipop loop offers ?exibility from easy day hiking to multiple night excursions. Numerous ?shing lakes mean you have plenty of choices.

Don’t let the amount of vehicles in the parking lot concern you. Even on the most popular trails of the Bighorns, like this one, the crowds aren’t overwhelming. Be sure to self-register your hiking party at the trailhead. Take the views in along the early clearings, because much of this hike is cloaked in a canopy of trees. Lodgepole pines grow straight and tall."

This is a great trail, the reason why I’m ranking it a three is because it wasn’t my perfect hike. I love hikes that are near creeks and we were disappointed there wasn’t a Creek we could fish. The lake was beautiful though! Great bathrooms and parking at the trailhead. We also stayed at a campsite right outside the parking lot from the trailhead and it was one of the most beautiful views!
