Ant Hill, Trails 024 & 038 Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This trail travels through some of the prettiest terrain in the Bighorn Mountains. It can be the first leg of a Solitude Loop adventure. It can also make for a nice overnight backpack loop from the Hunter Trailhead when coupled with the Elk Lake Trail.

Keeping in mind that the trailhead is a couple of miles of primitive road walking from the Cloud Peak Wilderness boundary, the Hunter Trailhead provides good access to the back-country for compact cars with little clearance."
