The problem with coming upon a topographical name like “Crow Creek” is that in this country you don’t really know if it commemorates a subtribe of Native Americans or a flock of birds. A more leisurely hike through easygoing mountain country landscape does not exist. Located 45 miles southeast of Alpine Junction along the Greys River Road, in the central section of the Last River Range. An enjoyable and not-too-steep day hike into a lovely high mountain setting. Enjoy impressive views of Mount Fitzpatrick. Great camping if an overnight is desired.
