Reverie to Tramontane Trail Loop - Holly River State Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Holly River State Park’s many mountain streams create a beautiful, lush green environment. These remote, deep woods provide habitat for a wide variety of plant and animal species. Listen for deep forest birds like the black-throated green warbler, expect to see deer, and don’t be surprised if you even catch sight of a black bear.
The park offers an extensive 42-mile trail system with hikes for the beginner as well as trails that will challenge even the most seasoned hiker. This steep loop travels behind a small waterfall, parallels Crooked Fork as it crashes through rocks and rhododendrons, and journeys into the past as it travels by an old homestead site."
