"This is now one of the smaller wildlife management areas in the state, covering just 93 acres. It was once more than 18,000 acres before a management lease expired and had not been renewed as of this writing.
Berwind Lake WMA features a lake covering 20 acres where you can fish and boat. Electric motor boats are permitted, but no gas-powered boats. Fish for bluegill, channel catfish, largemouth bass, and trout. The lake is stocked annually. There is a fishing pier, which is accessible.
