McDonough Trail Loop

McDonough Trail Loop Professional Review and Guide

"The McDonough Trail passes through wetlands and a forested hillside. The refuge is a small 277-acre area managed for wildlife. The Vienna Department of Parks and Recreation oversees management. Wildlife that may be encountered include white-tailed deer, turkey, red and gray fox, and coyote.

Migratory waterfowl inhabit two ponds found within the refuge. The refuge offers several trails and loops of various lengths. All of the trails are easy to follow and they are well maintained. Special attractions: Deer, turkeys, geese, and ducks are a common sight along the trail."
