Summit Lake Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This campground is located next to 43-acre Summit Lake, which is stocked with trout and also has pan fish and bass. You can fish from the pier, which is accessible, and there is also a boat launch available. No gas-powered boats are allowed, but you can use an electric-powered or cartop boat.

There are a couple of hiking trails located nearby: Summit Lake Trail is almost 2 miles long and goes around the lake and through the forest, and Pocahontas Trail is more than 20 miles long. Hand pumps provide fresh drinking water. Vault toilets are accessible to people with disabilities. Campsites are wooded, and all sites are first come, first served. RV friendly; can accommodate vehicles up to 53 feet in length."
