Bishop Knob Campground

Bishop Knob Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A larger-size but primitive campground, this is the westernmost camping spot in the midst of the Monongahela National Forest. The campground is composed of two loops and situated along a ridge with the Cranberry River on one side and the Williams River on the other.

Use it as a base for hiking and mountain biking, accessing the 2.5-mile Bishop Knob Trail just steps away. There is also the longer Cranberry Ridge Trail, which is 6 miles long, and Adkins Rockhouse Trail that is more than 2 miles long. With two nearby rivers, you can divide your fishing time between them. Vault toilets are wheelchair accessible."
