Bishop Knob

Bishop Knob Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Bishop Knob is an underutilized resource of the Monongahela National Forest. Other nearby campgrounds draw the crowds, leaving Bishop Knob to languish in obscurity. Don’t pass this
place by—and for eight bucks what have you got to lose?

So what’s at Bishop Knob? Try a secluded and quiet ridgetop camping area with a few trails of its own and quick access to both the Williams and Cranberry rivers. Plus, Bishop Knob rarely fills to over 50% capacity, which means you can nab a campsite already rife with natural privacy and make it even more private by having no one on either side of you."
