Big Buck Trail Professional Reviews and Guides
"The appropriately named Grandview area of the New River Gorge is the setting for this hike. The walk utilizes two relatively short and easy nature loops emanating from a common picnic area. A perfect stroll for kids and less-able hikers, the hike will first take you on the Big Buck Trail. Interpretive information identifying indigenous plants enhances the upland trek. The second circuit cruises a hillside and then dips to a ferny streamlet before returning to the picnic area. Elevation changes are minimal on the well-marked paths. Bring a picnic to enrich the experience."
