Watoga State Park

Watoga State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"More than 10,100 acres of beautifully forested land with some campsites along a babbling stream. This state park is considered the state’s largest.

The Greenbrier River Trail is accessible from the campground, offering a biking option, in addition to the four trails within the park as well as paved roads where bikes are welcome. Altogether there are seventeen trails available offering 40 miles of hiking opportunities, ranging in length from 0.5 mile to 3 miles.

Cross-country skiing can be done on the roads during the winter along with four trails that are more suitable for this activity. None of the trails is maintained specifically for this sport, though. The swimming pool is spring fed and is heated by solar power."
