Bluestone Wildlife Management Area (WMA) Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This wildlife management area covers an astounding 18,000 acres located next to Bluestone Lake, the second-largest in the state. Bluestone State Park is adjacent to the wildlife management area just to the north.
Horses are permitted on-site, and you can rent stable space. You can fish in the lake, Indian Creek, or on the New River with a valid West Virginia state fishing license. The creek is stocked with trout. The lake offers large-mouth and smallmouth bass, striped bass, catfish, muskie, and pan fish. Bring a canoe, kayak, or other boat, as there are six launch ramps."
