Spruce Knob Lake Campground Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This campground is located in the Spruce Knob-Seneca Rocks National Recreation Area and close to Spruce Knob, the highest point in the state at 4,863 feet. The campground itself is supposed to be at the highest elevation in the state as well.

You can fish in the lake that was built expressly for fishing and is regularly stocked with trout or in one of several creeks in the area. Bring your boat and launch it from the ramp. For hikers there are 60 miles of hiking trails available in the area, including the 1-mile Big Bend River Loop. Toilets and sites are accessible to people with disabilities."
