Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Cedar Creek State Park is named for the creek that flows lazily through its center. Located in the piedmont of West Virginia, the park offers approximately 10 miles of hiking trails.

The most popular activity in the park is fishing in both Cedar Creek and the small fishing ponds located near the creek. This lightly used trail is a rugged climb to a ridge crest with a rocky overlook followed by an easy hike along a slow-moving stream."
