Park Loop with Spur to Wolf Creek

Fayette County, West Virginia

Park Loop with Spur to Wolf Creek Professional Review and Guide

"This hike starts at the Fayetteville Town Park and then enters national park property. Travel through profuse pleasant woods on the Appalachian Plateau before dropping to meet Wolf Creek at its confluence with House Creek. An arched-span bridge crosses Wolf Creek here, adding an engineering touch to a pleasant scene where stone bluffs make for good relaxation spots. Explore nearby House Creek, where it drops in cascades to meet Wolf Creek. Backtrack to the plateau and then make a final woodland walk, returning to Town Park."
