This popular hike makes a mostly easy trek to a prominent rock spine culminating in a view from its tip—Long Point. From here you can see the famed New River Bridge as it crosses from one end of the New River Gorge to the other, as well as the natural features around it. But the hike is rewarding from its beginning at an easily accessible trailhead through eye-pleasing woods down to the narrow rock spine of Long Point. And elevation changes are less than 300 feet, making it easily doable by your average hiker.
